December's Project Post

“To achieve great things, two things are needed;
                                    a plan, and not quite enough time.”
                                             ~Leonard Bernstein~

Not sure I followed the above formula; I started with the "not quite enough time" part and then tried to develop a plan. I had had a plan. It was from an idea that derived from an image I saw Joyce create at one of the Santa Barbara workshops I attended in the 90's. It involved a model holding some flowers. Being 2 weeks before Christmas, I just couldn't seem to commandeer any too busy and willing subjects, other than the flowers that I purchased at the DeKalb farmers market. But I typically try to make some artsy prints for gifts, so I have at least forced myself to achieve something, if not greatness.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, filled with the accomplishment of time spent with family and friends. We'll start over in the New Year.

Now let's see what Christie has to show us: http://girltakesphoto.com/2011/12/elevate-ii-austin-fine-art-photographer/
